Attention Amazon Affiliates! To ensure the best possible performance and security for your affiliate feeds, we are announcing an important update regarding how you connect your Amazon account.
Previously, you were required to join the Amazon Product Advertising API to obtain a pair of access keys (an Access Key and a Secret Key). However, Amazon is introducing a new standard. To keep your product feeds running smoothly, you will now need to transition to the Amazon Creators API.
What do you need to do?
The process requires a few quick steps to generate a new set of credentials for your account:
- Join the Amazon Creators API: Log into your Amazon Associates account and navigate to the new Creators API portal to join.
- Create a Developer App: You will need to create a dedicated app within your Amazon account to generate your new connection keys.
- Obtain Your Credentials: Once your app is created, you will be provided with a new Credential ID and a Secret.
Important Security Note: Just like previous Amazon secret keys, your new Secret will only be visible once upon creation. Please make sure to copy and save both your Credential ID and Secret in a secure location immediately.

How to Update Your Existing Feeds
Once you have obtained your new Credential ID and Secret, you must replace your current keys to ensure your feeds do not stop working. You have two options to update your account:
Option A: Regenerate Your Feeds Manually. You can manually recreate and regenerate your Amazon feeds using your newly generated keys. Use the Edit option in the Feeds Box to update your existing Amazon feeds.
Option B: Let Our Support Team Help! (recommended for multiple feeds) Go to your ACCOUNT – Default settings menu and save your new Amazon keys in the appropriate fields. Once they are saved, simply reach out to our support team and ask us to replace the keys in all of your existing Amazon feeds. We will update them for you!
